Nikki and her husband, Brandon, live in Goleta and just welcomed their first child, Sedona Renee Knott, to the world on June 24, 2011!
Nikki has worked in the field of education for ten years and has enjoyed serving in both the public and private spheres. Her first experience in education was as a one-on-one aide in a special education classroom. The Lord used this experience to lead her to seek a career in educational ministry. She has a deep desire to challenge and witness young people live transformed lives, through their God-given skills and talents, for the glory of His kingdom.
Nikki’s passion for worldview studies began at The Master’s College. As her zeal grew, she desired to see Christian teenagers redefine expectations based on biblical standards rather than those set by our current culture. Her worldview courses are rooted in devotion to Christ, the study of apologetics, love for the Word of God, and service to the people of the world we have been called to minister to.
Nikki holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, with an emphasis in teacher education, from The Master’s College and a Master’s in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has earned teaching credentials in the states of California, Nevada, and Arizona in the areas of social studies and language arts.
